Creativity That Connects, Skills That Last.

Createschool delivers engaging, hands-on workshops, courses and programmes in various creative arts including, music, film and digital media.

We work with schools, youth groups, and communities across Ireland to help young people create, collaborate, and share their ideas and to tell their stories.

What We Do

At Createschool, we design and deliver creative learning experiences that inspire young people to express themselves, build confidence, and develop real-world digital skills.

Our programmes combine creativity with practical know-how — from songwriting to filmmaking, from media literacy to climate storytelling.

Our work includes:

  • The Rubbish Film Festival — an award-winning environmental media initiative for Transition Year students.

  • Songschool — music and songwriting workshops delivered nationwide for over 20 years.

  • Creative Media Passport — an award winning accredited digital media programme for secondary schools.

  • School Workshops — hands-on sessions in filmmaking, podcasting, content creation, and creativity.

Our Impact

Each year Createschool works with thousands of young people across Ireland and Scotland through creative, collaborative, and curriculum-aligned programmes.

In the past 12 months:

  • Delivered workshops, course and training in over 200 schools

  • Engaged thousands of students in creative projects

  • Selected as an SDG Champion by the Department of the Environment

  • Winner of multiple awards for creative and environmental education

  • Partnered with Local Authorities, ETBs, IMRO, Learnovate and the National Concert Hall

Creativity changes how young people see themselves — and how they see the world. That’s why we do this work.
